Students must have his/her permit in order to sign-up for Driver Education classes.  There are 5 sessions every school year.  Students sign up online through the Waiakea High School website.  Open enrollment is held for one week and advertised on the morning announcements.  Go to the Waiakea High School website during that week to get the link to sign-up for the class.  The Driver Education Program at Waiakea High School is made up of 2 parts:  Classroom and Behind the wheel.  Classes will run from 3:30-5:30, Monday through Friday for 17 days and then we schedule 6 BTW lessons.  The cost is $10.  Attendance is mandatory.
